What is NeuroPeace's core privacy philosophy?
We believe that your journal, your moods, and your thoughts are deeply personal. Our app is designed to be a private sanctuary. All data you enter into NeuroPeace is stored securely on your device and in your personal iCloud account. We do not have access to it.
What information is collected?
NeuroPeace functions almost entirely offline and on your personal cloud storage. We only collect:
- Anonymous Analytics: To help us fix bugs and understand which features are most helpful, we collect non-personal, aggregated usage data (like crash reports). This data is completely anonymous and is not linked to you or your journal entries.
- Subscription Status: If you subscribe to premium features, Apple provides us with an anonymous token to verify your subscription. We do not see your payment details.
How is my journal data stored and protected?
Your journal entries, mood logs, and all other personal content are stored using Apple's secure technologies:
- On-Device Storage: Your data lives securely on your iPhone or iPad.
- Private iCloud Sync: If you enable iCloud, your data is synced across your devices using Apple's end-to-end encryption. Only you can access it.
Do you sell my data?
Absolutely not. Since we do not collect your personal journal or mood data, there is nothing for us to sell. Your privacy is not for sale.
